Mum & Bub Barre is a low-impact exercise class building in intensity designed especially to acknowledge the changes that occurred during pregnancy and birth - helping mums feel confident to exercise with their babies.
 
As a new mum we spend a lot of our time attending to our baby’s needs and it can be consuming and hard to carve out time for ourselves. Our mums and bubs series is designed to:
  • Foster connection with other mums.
  • Practice gentle barre poses that work to realign, regain strength, stability and connection with your body and baby.
  • Focus on gradually regaining strength in the pelvic floor muscles.
  • Gentle stretching for bub, and special bonding time.
  • Learn to soften and find stillness amongst the chaos.
  • Practice within a safe and supportive environment.
As this is a mums and bubs class, there is no expectation of how your baby should behave. It is natural for babies to cry, require feeding and changing and you are invited to attend to bubs needs as they arise and rejoin us when you can.

Who is this class for?
For mothers and babies from 6 weeks (depending on birth) until bubs is crawling. If you have done Barre before or would like to start this fantastic practice, then this is the class for you! 

Do you enjoy being in a small class (maximum of 10 participants) with varied sessions and an experienced instructor? Are you interested in low-impact, exercise with your baby, focusing on retraining pelvic floor muscles, postural alignment and increasing energy levels. If you answered yes to the above, Mum & Bub Barre is the right fit for you.

About your instructor:
Jo is a mother of 2 and a barre member since it started. She is a qualified barre instructor and has first-hand experience doing barre before and after having her babies.
